Do’s
1. Share 3 value touch points before you introduce your offer, and then start to sell. Facebook lives work well for this, and you can social proof them to increase your views.
2. Make everything personal for your ideal client - this comes through in your brand messaging and also down to the copy you use on your landing pages. Create a title, subtitle, and 3-5 benefits which speak to the person, the thing you help with, and why they want that result
3. Position high and sell low. This means getting your business model in order and knowing both the value of your offer, and the industry standards for that. For example, positioning 1:1 coaching at $90,000 then selling a $15,000 group coaching program.
Don’ts
1. Don't just make one offer. With online marketing you have the opportunity to sell and then sell again. It’s easier to sell to someone who has already taken an action, so when they do that, what can you offer next? One of the ways I broke the 100k month mark back in 2016 was to build a funnel which shared a freebie and then showed an opportunity to book in for a call with me. I then sold a 10k product on the phone.
2. Don't forget to add a deadline to the thing you’re selling - 80% of people will buy on a deadline. This can be on Instagram, within your email funnels, or when you’re selling on the phone.
3. Don’t forget the golden rule of either taking credit card details or having a 24 hour follow up scheduled. sell with a click if it’s under $997 or get on the phone for anything over that.
